While Jeff Choquette and the Fountain Motorsports team were trying to complete the second leg of a back to back win effort at New Smyrna Speedway Saturday, FMS Racing Quarter Midget Driver Matthew Green was taking a checkered flag of his own in Tampa. In his Fountain Motorsports Quarter Midget, Matthew Green won both the heat and the main event in the Light World Formula class with a half track to spare. After the dominating performance, Matthew geared up for the Light X-160 class in his black Quarter Midget. Finishing 2nd in the heat race, Matthew had to start in the back of the pack after needing a tire change during hot laps. He managed to make his way back to the 3rd position for the completion of the race. A fun point of mention is that Matthew Green’s Quarter Midget was equipped with an on-car video camera. Stay tuned for the short video segment and experience the race from the 10 year olds driver seat!! Congrats to Matthew for another Checkered Flag to add to his collection!
